Overview of Job: The Lawson Systems Analyst is a critical member of the IS Financial and Administrative Systems staff. This analyst is responsible to analyze, develop and maintain Lawson databases, interfaces, applications and systems as needed to meet the information needs of RMH, related entities and outside agencies. Evaluates software packages for integration and maintains, designs and implements complex workflows, databases and interfaces in a web and client/server environment. Interacts with ERP system users to define data needs and develop specifications for applications. Assists Information Systems staff and other users with financial systems database and interface problems. Participates in strategic planning for financial application, database and interface development. Tracks financial system issues with appropriate vendors. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other field preferred or High School degree with 5 years experience in software project management. Minimum Work Experience: Background in project management and systems implementation is required. Strong analytical background with experience with Lawson and other financial systems within a healthcare system preferred. Experience in training and in preparing teaching materials preferred. Knowledge of financial systems interfacing is desirable. Hospital information systems experience is desirable.
