Job Description:

Develops and maintains enhancements to total Lawson system to meet the needs of the organization. Recommends appropriate solutions utilizing Lawson ProcessFlow; Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI); screen modifications; interfaces; and custom screens, programs and tables. Work with the Directors of Materials Management, Human Resources, Accounting and end users to identify opportunities to improve functionality of the Lawson System. Develop recommendations to address business requirements based on functional specifications and discussion with Directors and end users. Utilize Lawson functionality whenever possible to minimize the need for customizations. Write and maintain process flows. Modify and create Lawson portal and self-service screens utilizing Design Studio and JavaScript. Write and maintain Lawson User Exits. Develop custom programs when standard Lawson functionality cannot be utilized to address business requirements. Thoroughly test all modifications and coordinate user acceptance testing. Manage all Lawson patches and system upgrades. Develop and maintain user training and system documentation materials. Participate in change management process.

Required Skills:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred. Four years of related experience as a Senior Application Analyst supporting Lawson applications will be considered. A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in supporting core Lawson applications (HR, PR, BN, LP, GL, RQ, etc.) in addition to experience in developing and maintaining Lawson to meet core business needs using JavaScript, ProcessFlow, Design Studio, Websphere, Smart Notes , MS Add-ins, XML, HTML, Workbench-CASE, VB.NET, Crystal Reporting, and Lawson Business Intelligence, Also, three years of Lawson 4GL and COBOL experience is required. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, coordinate and implement long-term projects, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive hospital information. Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows (XP, 2000, 2003), Linux.Experience and knowledge working with Oracle 10g and SQL 2005 databases. Knowledge with Lawson Interfaces to and from external systems helpful (insurance carriers 834 format, Kronos timekeeper system, retirement and banking systems, Active Directory, etc…
